Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how HaveWe ("the App," "we," "our," or "us") handles information when you use it. HaveWe is developed by Hero Apps.

1. Summary

HaveWe is designed to work entirely on your device. In its current version, the App does not require an account, does not collect personal information, and does not transmit your household inventory data to any server. Everything you add to HaveWe — items, categories, and your name (if entered) — is stored locally on your device only.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect:

  • Your name, email address, or phone number (the optional "Your name" field in Settings is stored only on your device and is never transmitted anywhere)
  • Your item list, categories, or stock status data
  • Location data
  • Contacts, photos, or any other personal files
  • Advertising identifiers

Information that may be processed automatically:

  • Standard technical information collected by the Google Play Store (such as device type, app version, and crash reports), governed by Google's own privacy policy, not this one
  • If you choose to enable an app icon badge showing your out-of-stock count, this is handled entirely on-device through your phone's operating system and is not transmitted to us

3. Data Storage

All data you enter into HaveWe (items, categories, stock status, and your optional name) is stored locally on your device using on-device storage. We do not operate a server that stores or has access to this data. If you uninstall the App, this data is permanently deleted from your device, unless your device's own backup system (such as Android's built-in backup) has separately preserved it.

4. Data Sharing

Since HaveWe does not collect or transmit your data to us, we have no household inventory data to share, sell, or disclose to any third party.

5. Permissions

HaveWe may request the following device permissions:

  • Notification/Badge permission — used only to display a count of out-of-stock items on the App icon, entirely on-device. You can decline or later revoke this permission in your device settings without affecting the App's core functionality.

HaveWe does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, location, or storage beyond what's needed for the App to function.

6. Children's Privacy

HaveWe is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Future Changes to This Policy

If HaveWe introduces features that involve data leaving your device — for example, an optional household-sharing feature allowing you to sync your list with another person — this Privacy Policy will be updated in advance of that feature's release to clearly explain what information would be involved, how it would be used, and what choices you'd have. We will not introduce such a feature without updating this policy first.

8. Your Choices

  • You can edit or delete any item at any time within the App
  • You can use the "Clear all data" option in Settings to permanently remove everything you've entered
  • You can uninstall the App at any time to remove all associated local data

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
